Warranty exchange by advance exchange against deposit

If your sensor no longer functions and is under warranty, we offer a quick upfront replacement. This allows you to continue using the system without any extended downtime.

Warranty exchange process:

1. Submit an error report

Send us an email to support@velometrik.de with the following information:

  • Sensor serial number
  • Date of purchase and name of the dealer
  • Short description of the error
  • A photo or video showing the problem (e.g. LED status, cable connection)
  • Optional: Screenshot or log file, if available

2. Pay deposit

After reviewing your details, we'll send you a payment link for a deposit of €300 net. Payment can be made via Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer.

3. Shipping the replacement sensor

As soon as we receive your payment, we will immediately send you a replacement sensor— provided the item is in stock . If there are any delays, we will notify you by email.

4. Return the defective sensor

Please return the defective sensor within 14 days to the following address:

If you are shipping from abroad: Please declare as a “guaranteed return – no value of goods” to avoid problems with customs.

5. Refund of the deposit

As soon as the defective sensor has arrived and been inspected, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
If there is no warranty claim or no return is made, we reserve the right to retain all or part of the deposit.

A notice:

You will initially be responsible for the return shipping costs. If the warranty claim is confirmed, we will reimburse you upon request.
